Heroes Don’t Do Paperwork

Hosted ByAngus MacDonald and Matthew Whalley

In a world where the vast majority of people have special powers - there are Super Heroes, Super Villains, and a mountain of paperwork after the dust has settled. My name is Angus and I’ve been hired by the Super Human Action Response Team to help navigate the red tape of a super powered world along with my bureaucrat partner Sal. It’s a thankless job but somebody has to do it because Heroes Don’t Do Paperwork.

EP117 – Unclogging The Heart

Sal relishes his new found will to live and youth by living life in the fast lane. Angus reels from visiting his childhood home and learning it all might be a ruse. The boys are then visited by the custodian of one of Super City’s community centers, Glorf (Leichelle Little) to talk about what it’s like helping the city’s youth.

EP116 – Stag Party

Angus and Sal venture in The Enchanted District to hunt down the Fae Deer Trickster that stole Sal’s will to live. Will they avoid the traps set by the devious entity… probably not.

EP115 – Seeking Conventional Wisdom

Angus and Sal work on some pretty grim stories and decide to get a snack. After their snack break the boys are joined by Mike Keyes (Velvet Wells) a volunteer who works the lost and found booths at the many conventions of Super City. Can Mike Keyes help the boys find something they’ve lost?

EP114 – Odd Jobs

While Angus recovers from a laser related eye injury Sal looks for a new part time job after getting fired from his last one for an “Oh Damn” moment.

EP113 – Live Theatre

Angus and Sal head over to the Rat King Theatre to catch some of the night time programming. There they meet with Catherine Abernathy-Quill (Patrice-Ann Forbes) to see if anything can be done to save the theatre now that it’s in Mayor Hick’s sights.

EP112 – Definitely Not A Waste Of Time

Angus shows up late to the show after finding a treasure map in the walls of his apartment. The boys venture to Providence Park in hopes of not only saving the park but also themselves. This will surely not be a waste of anyone’s time.

EP111 – Thick Necks and Thin Skin

Sal works on a story around Super City’s newest serial killer, The Haberdasher Slasher, while Angus discusses the finer points of skin donation. The guys are then visited by the sickly Weebly Creezer (Josh Mayo), a former resident of a local experimental lab.

EP110 – Laser Fest and Other Ungodly Side Hustles

Sal is feeling better than ever and Angus is run down from working multiple jobs to raise money for their trial with Mayor Hicks. In fact Angus forgot that he had an extra shift and had to leave the episode early.

EP109 – Dino NDA

Angus and Sal celebrate their work to save the Museum of Personal History, until a mysterious character (Leslie Cserepy) appears to deliver some bad news. Is this character merely the herald of some greater threat….yes.
