Ranking for the Gold!

It doesn’t seem like that long ago we were ranking Summer Olympic Sports. Our list of concerns in that episode about the social, political, environmental impacts of hosting this global competition on top of an ongoing pandemic well…is still very present all these months later. All that said, there is still something really special getting the world’s top athletes to compete on the bitter cold terrain of snow and ice competing for our love and for the gold! So join Tuong and Winter Olympians Desiree Connors Warmington, Al Connors, and Leslie Cserepy as they shred some gnarly hills and ‘hot dog’ their way to ranking a Top 5 Winter Olympic Sports list!

Ground Rules

• We are nominating an event not a component of an event. Ie some events are combined events that have multiple components where some of those components don’t have it’s own category. Therefore in this case, you’d nominate the whole event
• Nominations can span the entire history of the Winter olympics including upcoming confirmed games
• We do not need to specify male vs female events unless those events are specific to those categories
